In November 2021, after years of experiencing infertility, I gave birth to a beautiful little girl named Della Bliss. During our struggles and round of invitro fertilization I never once considered how I would feed her because I was confident I would breastfeed. I put the wearable breast pumps on my registry, bought the trendiest nipple balms, and packed my hospital bag with milk storage bags and nursing pads. I assumed that breastfeeding would immediately work and that was the only option for me. However, an unexpected caesarean section, a baby diagnosed with jaundice, and a bad latch humbled me.  As Della and I got to know one another we became more and more successful.  Throughout my own breastfeeding journey, I realized that helping others through their struggles and celebrating their milestones was a new found passion and I became a certified breastfeeding specialist in October of 2022. As I work towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, my aspiration is to educate and assist parents who have the intentions of breastfeeding their children. Whether it be exclusively nursing or pumping, we can work towards your aspirations to offer breastmilk to your child.
